prayer is very special in the sight of Allah Ta'ala because it is the only practice that Allah himself and the Angels also practice.Sholawat Allah to Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم means pouring out His grace and pleasure to him. Salawatnya Angels means their prayers and requests for forgiveness (istighfar) for the Messenger of Allah. Whereas the prayer of the believers means prayer and glorification (respect) for the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم.One of the short prayers but the fadhillah is very large is the Jibril Sholawat. It is called Jibril Sholawat because this prayer immediately came out of the mouth of the Angel Jibril.
It is said that when Prophet Adam 'alaihissalam was created then Allah created Sayyaidati Eve to accompany Prophet Adam. Jibril prevented him from approaching the woman who was prepared for him.
When Prophet Adam 'alaihissalam wanted to approach him, Jibril prevented him, "Don't approach him". Then the Prophet Adam asked if there was a dowry for him? Then the Angel Gabriel whispered the words of Prophet Adam: صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّد (Shollallohu 'Ala Muhammad).
Shalawat Jibril is so easy to practice, namely: صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّد (shollallohu 'ala Muhammad or صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّد (shollallohu' Alur Muhammad)
Imam Sya'roni in the Book at-Thobaqotul Kubro said "Whoever reads this prayer (shalawat Jibril) then he has opened 70 doors of mercy for himself and Allah will keep love in the hearts of people for him."
The scholars mention the fadhillah Sholawat Jibril very much, including:
1. Jibril prayer if read 500 times can facilitate business.
2. Sholawat Jibril if read 4444 times can launch sustenance.
3. Sholawat Jibril if read 10,000 times will get a higher gift of makrifat.
If the number above istiqomah is read for at least 40 days, then we will achieve the above priority.
