Isra Mikraj is a two-part journey made by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in just one night. This incident is one of the important events for Muslims, because it was during this event that he was ordered to pray five times a day and night. Isra Miraj is an important event for Rasulullah Muhammad SAW. At that time, in less than a night, the Prophet moved from the Grand Mosque to the Al-Aqsa Mosque and towards Sidratul Muntaha.

For most Muslims, they already know that the Isra Miraj incident is the great journey of the Prophet Muhammad to the seventh heaven to receive prayer orders from Allah SWT.Isra Miraj or the journey of Prophet Muhammad SAW through the 7th sky took place one night on the 27th of Rajab.

On the other hand, Isra and Miraj are actually two different events. However, because these two events occurred at the same time, it is called Isra Miraj.

Isra is the Prophet Muhammad's journey from the Grand Mosque in Mecca to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. Meanwhile, Miraj is the Prophet's journey from earth to Sidratul Muntaha, the seventh heaven which is the highest place.the two trips made by the prophet Muhammad SAW were only taken in one night. In several traditions narrated by Imam Bukhari and Muslim, one day, when the Prophet Muhammad and his companions were praying at the mosque in Medina, QS came down. Al-Baqarah verse 144 which instructs Muslims to turn their faces (Qibla) to the Al-Haram Mosque.

"Indeed we (often) see your face looking up at the sky, then we will indeed turn you to the Qibla you like. Turn your face towards the Masjid Al-Haram and wherever you are, turn your face towards it. And actually people ( Jews and the Bible) do know, that turning to the Masjid Al-Haram is true from their God; and Allah never neglects what they do. "

However, with this change in Qibla, Islam does not necessarily 'marginalize' the position of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Quran has placed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in glory. Especially during the Isra Miraj Prophet Muhammad SAW incident.

"Glory to Allah, who gave his servant the way one night from Masjid Al-Haram to Masjid Al-Aqsa which we blessed around him so that we show him some of our signs (greatness). In fact he is all-hearing, all-seeing. . "- (Surah Al-Isra: 1)

During the trip to meet the Creator, Prophet Muhammad was not only accompanied by the angel Jibril. Rasullulah is said to ride a Buraaq, a long white animal, with a large body over a donkey and with wings.

It is said of Buraaq, that one step can travel as far as the eye can see in an instant to pass through the seven heavens and meet the inhabitants at every level.

In the hadith it is told, in the first level of heaven, Rasullulah SAW met a human being as well as the first guardian of Allah on earth, Prophet Adam AS.

When meeting Prophet Adam, Rasullulah had a chance to greet him before finally leaving and continuing his journey. Prophet Adam responded by providing the Messenger of Allah through prayers so that he would always be given goodness in every matter at hand.

Then in the second heaven, Prophet Muhammad SAW met Prophet Isa and Prophet Yahya. Like in the first heaven, Rasullulah greeted with a friendly by the two predecessors of the prophets.

When leaving the second heaven, Prophet Isa and Yahya also prayed for goodness to Rasullulah. Then the Prophet Muhammad with the Angel Jibril flew again towards the third heaven.

Then in the third heaven, Rasullulah met Prophet Yusuf, the most handsome man ever created by Allah SWT on earth. During his meeting, Prophet Yusuf gave some of his good looks to the Prophet Muhammad.

Then at the end of his meeting, Prophet Yusuf gave a prayer of kindness to the last prophet. After parting with Prophet Yusuf in the third heaven, Rasulullah continued his journey and arrived at the fourth heaven. At this level, Rasullulah met Prophet Idris.

Prophet Idris was the first human being to know the writings and prophets who preached to Bani Qabil and Memphis in Egypt to believe in Allah SWT.

Like the meeting with the previous prophets, Prophet Idris gave a prayer to the Prophet Muhammad to be given goodness in every business he did.

Furthermore, in the fifth sky, Prophet Muhammad SAW met Prophet Harun, the prophet who accompanied Prophet Musa in preaching to invite King Pharaoh, the person who called himself God, and the Children of Israel to believe in Allah SWT.

Aaron is known as a prophet who has the ability to speak and convince people. In the fifth sky, Prophet Harun prayed for the Prophet Muhammad to always get goodness in his every deed.

In the sixth heaven, Prophet Muhammad and Angel Jibril met Prophet Musa, a prophet who had great merit in freeing the Children of Israel from slavery and guiding them to divine truth.

During his meeting with Muhammad, Prophet Musa welcomed him like the two old friends who had never met. Before the Prophet Muhammad said goodbye to leave the sixth heaven, Prophet Musa released him with a prayer of kindness. The last journey, the Prophet Muhammad to the seventh heaven met the friend of Allah SWT, the father of the prophets, namely Ibrahim AS. When he met, Prophet Ibrahim was leaning his back against the Baitul Mamuur, which is a place that Allah has provided for his angels. Every day, no less than 70 thousand angels enter.

Then, Prophet Ibrahim invited Muhammad to go to Sidratul Muntaha before meeting Allah SWT to receive the mandatory prayer order. Sidratul Muntaha is a tree that marks the end of the seventh heaven boundary.

Still in the same hadith, the Prophet Muhammad SAW recounts the physical form of Sidratul Muntaha, which is broad-leaved like an elephant's ear and its fruit that resembles a large jar.

However, Sidratul Muntaha's physical characteristics changed when Allah SWT came. Even the Prophet Muhammad SAW himself is speechless to describe the beauty of the Sidratul Muntaha tree.

In the belief of other religions, Sidratul Muntaha is also defined as the tree of life. It was in Sidratul Muntaha that the Prophet Muhammad had a dialogue with Allah SWT, to receive the mandatory order to pray five times a day.In the presence of Allah SWT, Rasulullah received orders to pray by obliging him and his people to pray 50 times a day. After receiving the order, Rasulullah returned downstairs and met the Prophet Musa.Prophet Musa advised Prophet Muhammad to ask Allah SWT for relief. After facing Allah SWT three times, the Prophet Muhammad was finally given relief by Allah SWT to carry out the five daily prayers. The Prophet's journey has been completed to perform the Isra Miraj.
